With the rapid growth of the video game industry and the increasing availability of online gaming worldwide, problematic gaming behaviors are on the rise, with significant psychosocial and somatic consequences. The aim of this study was to translate and validate the Russian version of the Game Addiction Scale for Adolescents (GASA), a brief 7-item psychometric instrument to identify addiction to computer games in adolescents.
